So Mr. Laub had an interesting post tonight on his blog. He reviewed a song he didn’t really dig a few months back and, most likely by Googling their own band name, a member of the band found themselves at his site and offered a few words of defense. Pretty neat.

So that got me thinking, “I wonder if dabootski.com could coax some rad bands to post on this here site?” With that said, the paragraph below is going to be a little bit of an experiment of “post it and they will come.”

Last night I had a dream that Navi Boi had a baby. I went to his house to see if he wanted to get wasted and he said that he couldn’t cuz he had to watch the baby sleep. I really hope this is not a sign of things to come as I do enjoy the rare chance to sip the silly drink with him.

So since I’m busy with school again and don’t really have to time to update this site more than once a week or so, I’m thinking about opening up the blog to multiple users to add a little spice to this site’s life. I would probably include Navy Boi, Svetlana, and possibly one or two others. It’s just an idea but let me know if you’re interested.

The coffee is making me jittery and Dreamweaver is making me lazy.

I upgraded to Wordpress 2.0 this morning and all appears to be okay.

No. I thought about it for a minute and even downloaded the newest version of Wordpress. Then I looked at the amount of time that it would take me and decided there is just way too much good tv (football games) on right now and way too many zombies to kill (Resident Evil 4). Someday. Til then, its football and zombies. Oh yeah, and this.

My annual winter semi-depression has reared its ugly head back into my brain (a little later this year than the last few). Theres something about the snow, lack of sunlight, lack of skating, and lack of overall cool shit that just gets to me this time of year. So far the best way I’ve found to ward it off is to surround myself with stuff that is rad, so I’m gonna try to post some things everyday this week that get me through these cold, snowy days. Kind of like a late Thanksgiving list I guess.

Things that make winter suck less list #1:

• Pixies - Trompe Le Monde - For whatever reason, I never really gave this album a chance. Something just clicked one day last week when listening to it and its been getting about 2 rotations per day since then. My new favorite Pixies album? Possibly.
• digg.com - digg’s got the best/funniest/weirdest tech news of any site I’ve been to. Peep it.
• Coors Light - The beer, not the website. After a few cans, it makes you feel awesome/handsome/cool and you also forget that its winter. Milk can not do that.
