Well my new/replacement iPod came today and unfortunately they didn’t give me one of those neat colored ones. I gotta say that I am impressed with their promptness though. I sent them the iPod on Monday morning and they had the new one to me by 2pm today. Bummer that I lost all my music on that thing. I’ve been loading it up with music since about 6 o’clock tonight and I still only have like a quarter of my music collection on it. It was fun for about 5 minutes cuz I forgot about some albums that I really like but now it is just getting lame. Blah, nothing new lately.

I’m glad your small white friend has returned. A couple of weeks ago when mine ran out of space I plugged it in to see what would happen; for some reason it emptied the thing. It took hours to get it full again - it was amazingly slow.

Yeah, and now that I’ve gotten most of my music collection back on it, it decided to do the exact same thing as last time. Needless to say, I’m more than a little bummed. Another week with no iPod. This is gonna get old quick. They better send me a new one this time.

Good luck. They say that the easiest way to proceed in a situation like this is to call them, explain clearly and politely what you want (”I want my iPod replaced with a new one because this one is defective”) and just keep driving at that. If one person can’t help you, just keep going up and up, but always try to stay nice. Coming from someone who worked in customer service for years, that point is super-important. Good luck!
